  • FAQs

What is the compliance hotline for?

CCRI has put the compliance reporting resource in place to provide an environment in which instances of misconduct or other serious regulatory or ethical concerns can be addressed.

How do I submit a report?

Fill out the online form above.

Can I file a report anonymously?

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCRI will protect the identity of persons who submit concerns. CCRI maintains a non-retaliation policy, which means any person who reports suspected misconduct, in good faith, will not be retaliated against. If a suspected concern turns out to be unfounded but was reported in good faith, the person reporting the concern will not have any action taken against them for bringing it to the attention of CCRI.

Do I have to provide my contact information?

Yes, contact information is needed in case we need to follow up or ask additional questions.

How do I obtain a status on my reported concern? What if I submitted a report and
    have additional information to provide?

Once you have filed a report, you may follow up by emailing compliance@childcareresourcesinc.org.

    Why should I report concerns?

Reporting issues helps ensure a positive and ethical work environment by identifying problems that need to be corrected, which minimizes potential negative impacts to CCRI.

What types of situations should I report?

You can report violations of law, regulations, or CCRI policies. This includes issues like financial misconduct (inappropriate billing or accounting, fraud, theft), falsified records, and improper use or disclosure of information. While you can report any concern through the compliance hotline, it's best to report personnel matters directly to management or human resources for the most effective resolution.

If I see a violation, shouldn’t I just report it to my manager or supervisor and let them deal with it?

You are always encouraged to report suspected violations or questionable ethical conduct to your manager or other CCRI leaders. The compliance hotline is an additional tool available if you do not feel comfortable with alternative reporting methods.

I'm not sure if what I observed/heard is a violation of CCRI policies and procedures or involves unethical conduct, but it just doesn’t look right to me. What should I do?

We encourage you to speak up about any situation you may be concerned about. Speak to your manager or supervisor or file a report through
    the compliance hotline.

I'm aware of some individuals involved in unethical conduct, but it doesn’t affect me. Should I report it?

Misconduct has implications for the entire organization and consequently all employees, clients, and business partners. If you know of any incidents of violations of law or policies, consider it your responsibility to report it even if it doesn’t directly impact you or your job.

Where do these reports go? Who can access them?

After you submit a report, it is forwarded to compliance@childcareresourcesinc.org for an objective investigation. Matters related to employee relations are routed to the human resources department. You can receive an update on the status or resolution by providing your email address. Please note that we may not always be able to share the specific outcome.

What if I have additional questions about the compliance hotline?

Please send an email to compliance@childcareresourcesinc.org.
