Child Care Resources Inc. was founded in 1982 to advance opportunity for working families and their children, and to help create, sustain, and improve a system of quality early care and education for all those who rely on it.
Our priority has always been to serve those who are most vulnerable. In Charlotte, in North Carolina, and across the country, those who are most vulnerable are disproportionately women, children, and families of color -- denied opportunity resulting from generations of institutionalized and systemic racism.
Child Care Resources Inc. stands against racism. Dismantling 400 years of racism requires intentional actions. The path ahead begins with listening to and learning from those whose voices have not been heard and from whom power has been largely denied. CCRI stands ready to listen, to learn, to self-examine, and to continue working toward the reversal of opportunity denied.
