Whether you have a little or a lot, one thing is certain — after weeks in quarantine, you have gone through enough rolls of toilet paper to provide entertainment for the kids. Check out these creative ways some of our CCRI families have upcycled theirs.

Superhero Cuffs – Calling all superheroes! Use toilet paper rolls to make superhero cuffs and complete the perfect hero ensemble.
Binoculars — Make some binoculars and go on a nature walk!
Cactus – Succulents are all the rage. Your children can create some of their own!
Snake — It’s OK; this snake is completely harmless.
Marble Run – This is a great STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activity. A marble run can be easy or difficult; follow your child’s lead.
Other Ideas
- Stamps — Fold or bend the toilet paper tubes into different shapes to make stamps. Your child can dip them in paint and create a masterpiece!
Enhance Learning — Is your child learning about an interesting topic in school? They can use their new knowledge to inspire creations such as machines, animals, or characters from a book they're reading.
