StarGuard Quality Maintenance Initiative

Curriculum Matters

Infant-Toddler Quality Improvement Initiative
Provides on-site and telephone-based technical assistance regarding infant/toddler concerns or questions, training workshops on topics that include the Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS), Positive Guidance for Infants & Toddlers, and Ages & Stages. Services are available in Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Union, Rowan and Stanly Counties. For information, contact:

Healthy Social Behavior Initiative
Supports child care centers that serve children who display challenging behaviors and/or those that wish to further develop pro-social behaviors in all children served.  Provides specialized consultation, technical assistance, and training to child care centers serving children birth-five in Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Union, Rowan and Stanly Counties.  For information, contact:
