Child Care Resources' Professional Development Workshops
For 25 years, Child Care Resources has worked with child care programs and professionals to help them increase their early childhood skills and education, resulting in higher quality care for the young children of this region. Child Care Resources offers a variety of professional development workshops each month for early care and education and school-age child care professionals.
Statewide Child Care Pre-Licensing Workshops
As of January 1, 2006, the North Carolina Division of Child Development requires that all prospective owner/operators of child care centers to attend a two-day Child Care Center Pre-Licensing Workshop prior to being issued a license to care for children. Child Care Resources coordinates the delivery of these workshops across the state that are designed to ensure statewide access to consistently high quality workshops for persons interested in opening child care programs and educate prospective operators about starting and sustaining high quality programs. Although not required for licensure, persons interested in starting a family child care home are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Licensing Workshop for Family Child Care Homes.

To register for Child Care Resources' Professional Development Workshops in Cabarrus, Mecklenburg or Union Counties, mail the completed registration form in the current issue of the Regional Training Calendar publication or download the registration form below and mail in with your payment to the Child Care Resources office where the workshop(s) will take place.
