Child Care Subsidy in Mecklenburg County
Child Care Resources Inc. administers child care subsidies for Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services and Smart Start of Mecklenburg County to help working Mecklenburg County families better afford the cost of child care. These funds also enable families to move closer to self-sufficiency, help teen parents to stay in school, and support parents in re-entering and remaining in the workforce. Child care subsidies help ensure that children have equal access to quality early education programs.
