Why should you donate?
Quality child care is a key to school success. Studies show that children who experience quality early care and education enter school with better math, language and social skills. And most American families are using child care - 75% of children under 5 are in some type of care outside the home.

But quality child care is often hard to find and afford. For most families, child care is the second largest expense in their budget after rent or mortgage - easily costing $4,000 to $10,000 or more a year. Even families who can afford it struggle to find quality care. One major study found that only one in four preschool classrooms and one in twelve infant classrooms in centers were of high quality.

Child Care Resources provides a range of services that help families find and afford quality child care. We also offer quality training and assistance programs to help child care programs improve and maintain quality of their services to children and families.
