- provided child care referrals on behalf of 10,363 children to 6,769 families
- administered $46.8 million in child care subsidies to families of a monthly average of 8,066 children, enabling them to work or attend school full-time
- helped 10,474 training participants from the child care field increase their understanding of early care and education "best practices" by providing 2,160 hours of professional development services
- Between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009, Child Care Resources Inc. quality initiatives contributed to increases in the:
- number of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and Union County children enrolled in 4 – 5 star rated programs (from 81% to 83%)
- percentage of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and Union County programs with a 4 or 5 star ratings (from 62% to 64%)
- average star rating of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and Union County child care programs by enrollment (from 4.09 to 4.17)
